Staff
Bro. Doug was called as pastor of Calvary Baptist in October of 2006. He holds a B.A. degree in Religious Education from Howard Payne University where he graduated in 1982.
Before coming to Calvary, he was at First Baptist of Andrews, Texas for over 20 years (June, 1986 to Octbober, 2006) where he served as Minister of Youth (first 15 years) and Minister of Education/Administration (last 5 years).
Prior to his time in Andrews, he served 4 years (1982 to 1986) as Youth and Education Minister at First Baptist of Copperas Cove, Texas.
Bro. Doug was licensed to the Gospel Ministry by Second Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas in August of 1980 and ordained by Calvary Baptist of Weimar in April of 2007.
He has been happily married to Jan for over 33 years and they have three boys, two of which are in the teaching/coaching profession with the youngest still in college.
Jennifer Stancik - Childcare Coordinator
Jennifer has been on staff for several years providing quality childcare at the church. She holds this part-time position as well as a full-time job in the Colorado County Judge's office in Columbus. In addition to her childcare responsibilities at Calvary, she is also the VBS director.
Jennifer provides a loving and caring environment for the children entrusted to her care and those attending any of our services can be confident and at ease in leaving your children with her.
Teressa Smith - Church Pianist
Teressa brings the talents God has given her and serves the Lord at Calvary Baptist as the church pianist. While not playing the piano at the church, she stays quite active running two different businesses in town.
Danny Smith - Director of Audio
Danny is a local businessman who takes care of running the church's sound system for both the morning and evening worship services each Sunday.
Glenn Dornak - Director of Video
Glenn is a local businessman who takes care of the video ministry at Calvary, taping both morning and evening services each Sunday.
